I am looking for an addiction treatment program for myself and I live in either Sacramento County or San Joaquin County. Can you help me?

Towns Health Services Inc. offers four programs to assist you. If you are looking to enter treatment at Towns Health Services (THS) or Palm Tree Ranch (PTR), Dr. Towns and his team of certified counselors, registered nurses, and mental health specialists work together to provide the highest standard of care to each client. Their belief in personalized care and attention helps them provide clients with exceptional treatment plans that meet their unique needs and circumstances. We accept all out-of-network plans and Medi-Cal. Call 209-744-9909 or book online. We can help with obtaining pre-authorization for clients that have insurance.

What levels of care does THS and PTR offer?

Towns Health Services Inc. offers the full continuum of care and evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment services. We offer both inpatient and outpatient treatment services. Detox and residential treatment is offered for our inpatient services.

Where are you located?

We have four drug and alcohol treatment facilities to serve you, two of which are outpatient, located in Galt, CA and Lodi, CA. We are situated between two major metropolitan regions, Sacramento and Stockton, CA, with the nearest airports being Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and Stockton Metropolitan Airport (STK). Our facility in Sacramento County is located on the southern border, with the nearest major city being Elk Grove, CA. Our other facility is located in San Joaquin County on the northern border, near Stockton, CA located in Lodi, CA.

What is Dr. Towns' experience?

Dr. Towns is a highly experienced and double-board certified Addiction Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Addiction Medicine, and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has dedicated his career to helping individuals struggling with addiction. He holds degrees from the University of Michigan Medical School, a Harvard Clinical Fellowship at Cambridge Hospital, and UC Berkeley. Dr. Towns’ compassionate and individualized approach to treatment has helped many clients achieve lasting success in their recovery as well as continue their careers successfully. What other services does Dr. Towns provide?

In addition to his addiction consultation services for drugs and alcohol, as well as gambling, Dr. Towns also provides expert witness services after an initial assessment, and he provides follow-up assessments for early termination of probation for his clients. I have an addiction to gambling. Can Dr. Towns help with my gambling addiction?

Yes, Dr. Towns has extensive experience helping people with a gambling addiction. Medication-Assisted Therapy has proven very successful in helping those refrain from addiction.

Does Dr. Towns accept Medi-Cal or insurance for an addiction consultation?

Dr. Towns does not accept Medi-Cal or private insurance for an addiction consultation which results in a lengthy report that is provided upon completion if you are facing disciplinary action. However, he does accept all other payments including cash or credit.

I was told you accept Medi-Cal for treatment services, how can I get started?

Palm Tree Ranch (PTR) takes great pride in providing top-notch inpatient treatment facilities at two locations. Our 4-acre ranch in Herald, CA, offers a luxurious setting for recovery, while our inpatient facility in Galt, CA, provides detox and incidental medical services, also catering to individuals with co-occurring disorders. We take pride in delivering the highest standard of care and have earned certification from DHCS and accreditation from JCAHO.
